SYNOPSIS

Former UN investigator Gerry Lane, his wife Karin and their two daughters are in Philadelphia when the city is attacked by zombies. Everyone bitten by a zombie quickly becomes one as well. As chaos spreads, the Lanes flee to Newark, New Jersey and take refuge in the apartment of a couple and their young son, Tommy. After zombies infiltrate the building and infect Tommy's parents, UN Deputy Secretary-General Thierry Umutoni—an old friend of Gerry's—sends a helicopter that transports the Lanes and Tommy to a U.S. Navy vessel in the Atlantic Ocean, where scientists and military personnel are analyzing the worldwide outbreak. Dr. Andrew Fassbach posits that the plague is a virus, and that development of a vaccine depends on finding the origin. Gerry reluctantly agrees to accompany Fassbach to the site of the earliest known outbreak after it is made clear that he and his family will be removed from the ship if he does not.

Gerry and Fassbach fly to Camp Humphreys, a military base in South Korea, where they are attacked by zombies. Running back into the aircraft, Fassbach slips, falls and accidentally discharges his gun, killing himself. After being rescued by the base's surviving personnel, led by Captain Speke, Gerry learns that the infection was introduced to the base by its doctor, who was ultimately incinerated by a soldier with a lame leg whom the infected ignored. A former CIA operative imprisoned at the base tells Gerry to go to Jerusalem and talk to someone named Jurgen Warmbrunn. The zombies are attracted to sound, so Gerry and his team quietly bike back to their aircraft. Karin phones Gerry at the wrong time, however, causing zombies to attack. Infected, Captain Speke commits suicide. Gerry and the pilot escape.

In Jerusalem, Gerry meets Jurgen Warmbrunn, who explains that months earlier, he had taken seriously an intercepted message that Indian troops were fighting the rakshasa ("undead"). As a result, the Israelis reacted more quickly to the danger than anyone else. The city itself is enclosed by very high walls and heavily guarded. Survivors are carefully let in, but loud celebratory singing by some of them incites the zombies to climb over each other at the wall, eventually scaling it and entering the city. Jurgen orders some Israeli soldiers to escort Gerry back to his plane. On the way, Gerry notices zombies ignoring a sick old man and an emaciated boy. One of Gerry's IDF escorts, a soldier who identifies herself only by her rank, Segen (lieutenant), is bitten on the hand. Gerry quickly amputates it to stop her from turning into a zombie. Discovering that his plane had already left, Gerry and Segen escape on a commercial airliner as Jerusalem is overrun.

Gerry has a revelation. He calls his wife and talks to Thierry. He asks Thierry to find the nearest World Health Organization facility from Israel. Gerry heads up to the cockpit and waves his phone at the camera. After taking the call, the pilot tells Gerry that they are headed to Cardiff, Wales. When a stowaway zombie is inadvertently allowed into the cabin in mid-air, Gerry uses a grenade to blow open a hole in the side of the airplane; the infected are blown out, but the plane crashes. Gerry is injured, but both he and Segen survive. They proceed to the WHO facility, where Gerry loses consciousness for three days. When he awakens, he explains to the remaining staff his theory, based on his observations: the zombies ignore the seriously injured or terminally ill, since they would be unsuitable hosts. If they can infect people with a deadly but curable disease, they would be safe. Unfortunately, the facility's pathogens are in a wing overrun by the zombies. Gerry, Segen and the lead WHO doctor quietly sneak in, but accidentally make the noise. Chased, they become separated. Segen and the doctor return to safety, while Gerry reaches the pathogen vault. A zombie arrives outside the only entrance, forcing him to inject himself. After waiting a while for the disease to take effect, he opens the door. The zombie enters the vault but, sensing his infection, does not attack. Neither do the others he encounters while returning to the main wing where he is given a cure for the disease.

Gerry and his family, who have adopted Tommy, are reunited in a safe zone at Freeport, Nova Scotia. A "vaccine" is developed and issued to troops battling the infected, and is also parachuted to other survivors. There is hope, though Gerry admits that the war is not over.

Why do you like this movie?

Because the film tells how the responsibilities held. Responsibility not only to save themselves but must save the lives of many people.

How the cast of characters do you like?

Character Brad Pitt in World War Z narrate as a someone very stable, he conducted investigation with carefully , think fast and act smart when making decisions.

Who do you like the actors in the film?

In this movie of course I like the main actor, Gerry Lane starring by Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt's presence that is capable to show the presence of charisma as the main character in this film. His figure is able to looks very so strong without feeling redundant, succeeded in carrying portion  the drama when it interacting with his family, and made ​​me cheer for joy when he slaughtered hundreds of zombies that attack. And a scene at the end of the film is very cool when he walked down the corridor past the dozens of zombie. And it is very interesting.

What Will You Do After Graduate From Gunadarma University ?

For a student graduating from college is very encouraging. After graduation was the real beginning of a new life will begin. Have a greater responsibility as a graduate student. And start thinking about what to do after graduation, all thoughts came to me when faced with the question "what to do after graduation?". And many things are expected after graduating from college. The new world was already waiting for a while longer. So what, do anything, and there are many more that came to my mind.

I'm sure in the end everyone wants to be successful in the future, in accordance with the standards of each every person. like me, I also want to be a successful person who can make people happy around me. of course it was very fun for me. And I also believe that, in order to achieve success certainly does not appear instantly, there will be a process to go through before finally being labeled a success.

After graduating first thing I want to do is work. I imagine the future will be full of many surprises later. Yes I want to work in accordance with the majors that I took today. Work to earn income and achieve what I want.

But not only that, in addition to working I also want to have a business or other venture in which I became a business owner. Fun we not only receive a salary from the job but I also can provide jobs for others. Can provide jobs for others it is a thing that I want.

I don’t have their own capital to open a business that I want, so I want to work first to increase my capital later. After that I can choose what I want more work or entrepreneurship and creating jobs for others. Actual trip will start after this pass. Always trying to do the best I can do .

WHY ENGLISH IMPORTANT TO YOUR MAJOR ?

English is one of the important languages in the world. Everyone must know and be able to speak the English language, although only slightly. The current English language already known by people all over the world. English is used as a liaison between the state language. As in Indonesia all students from kindergarten to college level English class was there in it. This is because that people must know and understand about the English language in communicating with other countriese. English has an important role for me in everyday life as well as in the lecture.

English is important to me because in my activity, I like watching movies as if national films and foreign films that use English. Where the role of the language of English is important for me to interpret the content or intent of the movies I watch.  If english isn’t important to me, then I will have difficulty in watching the foreign film and I can only watch movies national.

There are also translations of books used in the lecture. To understand the contents of the book we have to interpret the intention of the content of the book because using English. In listening to music using the English language also has a role in order to understand the lyrics of the song.

Moreover , if there are friends or people speaking English I also have to understand what the person is saying. The role of the English language is very important here if I didn’t understand what the person is saying then I just kept silent and didn’t understand anything.

Because many daily activities that I do relate in English , the English language is very important for me to understand and appreciate the activities using the English language besides the English language is also important for me to plan or make cv for work later . Not only that , even the English language is also required in the world of work .

Siapa Saya ??

Saya adalah seorang perempuan berwajah tidak terlalu cantik dan tidak terlalu jelek asli Indonesia dengan tubuh yang tidak teralu kurus dan tidak terlalu gemuk dengan tinggi 157cm. Berambut hitam panjang terurai sepunggung dan jarang sekali di kuncir. Mungkin kesan pertama jika melihat saya, saya sedikit terlihat jutek bagi sebagian orang yang belum mengenal saya. Padahal saya tidak seperti itu. Hee ^.^

 Saya adalah anak pertama dari dua bersaudara. Saya lahir di Depok tepatnya pada bulan Juli. Sekarang saya bertempat tinggal di Depok bersama kedua orangtua saya dan adik perempuan saya. 

Taman kanak-kanak adalah tempat pertama saya memulai pendidikan. Inilah masa dimana awal pendidikan saya dimulai. Setahun lamanya saya menempuh pendidikan di taman kanak-kanak. Selama menempuh pendidikan di taman kanak-kanak ini saya selalu di temani oleh nenek saya yang selalu senantiasa menemani saya dalam proses belajar di taman kanak-kanak. Karena waktu itu kedua orangtua saya sama-sama bekerja sehingga saya memulai proses belajar ditan kank-kanak ditemani oleh nenek saya.

Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan di taman kanak-kanak saya pun melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang sekolah formal. Ya Sekolah Dasar atau SD , letak sekolah saya ini jaraknya tidak terlalu jauh dari rumah. Disini proses belajar dilakukan selama enam tahun dengan setiap tingkatan yang lebih tinggi di setiap tahunnya. Saya sama seperti anak-anak lain pada umumnya sama-sama mengikuti proses belajar disekolah, bermain bersama teman-teman, dan mengerjakan tugas. Saya pun berhasil melewati tahapan Sekolah Dasar ini dan melanjutkan kependidikan menengah pertama.

Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), disinilah masa-masa saya memulai untuk belajar beradaptasi dengan orang-orang yang baru pertama kali saya kenal. Karena tidak semua teman-teman SD saya masuk ke SMP yang sama dengan saya. Kali ini jarak sekolah saya dengan rumah bisa dibilang cukup jauh karena harus di tempuh dengan 2 kali menggunakan angkutan umum dari rumah saya sampai kesekolah. Disini saya mempunyai banyak teman perempuan maupun laki-laki dan mereka teman-teman yang baik dan sahabat yang baik sampai saat ini.

 Masa SMP adalah masa dimana saya mengenal banyak orang untuk menyesuaikan diri beradaptasi antara satu sama lainnya. Bermain, belajar, berteman dan bersosialisasi adalah tahap pertama yang baru saya temui. Bertemu dengan teman-teman yang baik yang memberikan kesan tersendiri.

Setelah SMP saya mulai bingung mau melanjutkan kemana Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) atau Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Saya pun mulai mencari-cari sekolah terbaik baik SMA maupun SMK bersama sahabat saya. Sampai-sampai saya memberanikan diri bersama teman-teman saya pergi ke Jakarta untuk melihat-lihat dan mencari informasi tentang SMA dan SMK dan syarat-syarat untuk masuk sekolah di Jakarta tersebut. Ini adalah pengalam berharga bagi saya, saat itu saya sama sekali tidak tahu apa-apa tentang sekolah-sekolah yang ingin saya tuju di Jakarta yaa dapat dibilang modal nekat untuk sampai kesana. heeee

Setelah mencari-cari informasi di Jakarta, saya merasa jarak tempuh dari rumah saya ke sekolah tersebut sangat jauh saya takut waktu saya hanya habis diperjalanan sehingga saya tidak fokus dalam belajar. Karena hal itu, saya pun mencari informasi tentang sekolah-sekolah SMK maupun SMA yang berada di Depok. Ya saya mulai mencari sekolah-sekolah yang jaraknya tidak terlalu jauh dari rumah saya.

Sebenarnya saya dan sahabat saya sudah sempat mendaftarkan diri ke salah satu SMK di Depok, akan tetapi orangtua saya mengusulkan saya agar saya untuk memilih SMA saja dan akhirnya saya pun melanjutkan pendidikan ke Sekolah Menengah Atas atau SMA. Akan tetapi sahabat saya itu tidak bersama saya, dia tetap memilih untuk masuk ke sekolah yang sudah kami daftar tersebut.

Muncul tantangan baru bagi saya, kali ini jarak antara rumah saya dan sekolah saya dapat dibilang sangat jauh bukan hanya jarak akan tetapi saya harus menempuh sekolah saya dengan menggunakan angkutan umum sebanyak tiga kali. Awalnya orangtua saya kasihan dan takut kalau saya tidak kuat bersekolah disini karena jaraknya yang cukup jauh. Tetapi akhirnya saya berusaha meyakinkan orangtua saya kalau saya sanggup dan pasti bisa. Ya dan ternyata saya bisa dan saya telah selesai menjalani pendidikan selama SMA.

            Kalau ada yang bilang masa-masa SMA adalah masa-masa yang paling indah saya setuju dengan hal itu. Masa SMA sering dibilang masanya anak remaja, masa dimana dimulainya kehidupan para remaja yang beranajak dewasa. Masa bagi para remaja untuk mulai belajar menjaga diri agar tidak salah dalam bergaul. Banyak yang mulai mencari jati diri dan saling berbagi cerita untuk belajar tumbuh dari setiap harinya bersama teman-teman. Tiada hari tanpa berkumpul, bermain dan belajar bersama akan tetapi masih dalam batas yang wajar.

            Setiap pulang sekolah saya dan teman-teman saya selalu berkumpul entah itu mau cari makan, ikut-ikutan anak laki-laki futsal bahkan samapi jalan-jalan bersama. Saya berteman dekat bukan hanya dengan perempuan saja tetapi laki-laki juga saat itu perempuannya hanya empat orang dan selebihnya laki-laki. Berteman dengan laki-laki kenapa tidak ? karena menurut saya laki-laki itu tidak ribet, tidak comel bahkan dapat melindungi kami para wanita itu yang saya rasakan ketika bersama teman-teman saya.

            Masa remaja kini telah berganti menjadi sebuah proses menuju masa dewasa. Sekarang saya sedang melanjutkan pendidikan di salah satu universitas di Depok. Banyak pengalaman yang berharga yang saya dapatkan sampai pada saat ini, bertemu dengan teman-teman yang saling memberikan semangat satu sama lain. Disini tidak sama seperti masa-masa SMA, yaa karena ini bukanlah sebuah masa remaja lagi.

            Inilah saya seorang perempuan yang akan selalu berusaha mewujudkan impian-impian yang saya miliki. Seorang wanita yang selalu melakukan hal-hal sendiri, hal-hal yang saya anggap saya mampu melakukannya sendiri karena saya tidak ingin menyusahkan orang-orang disekitar saya terutama orangtua saya. Seseorang yang akan terus belajar menjadi pribadi yang dewasa walau kadang masih susah keluar dari comfort zone saya.
